Matthew is an Occupational Therapist and Director of an independent occupational therapy practice he established in 2009. With over 20 years of professional experience across social care and community settings, Matthew has worked extensively with adults, children providing independent assessments, always focusing on enabling independence. He is actively engaged in promoting best practice in housing accessibility, universal design and functional living environments. Matthew has been a committee member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists’ Specialist Housing & Independent Practice sections and has contributed to influential guidance on housing adaptations. He is the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Innovation Lead for the Social Care Practice Network.
