Cathy started her career as a secondary English teacher before a favour for a friend - helping with a single report - turned into a full-time business. Today, she leads a team of 15 associates at Memo, reviewing thousands of documents every year for the medico-legal and rehabilitation sectors.

Under her direction, Memo has become a partner for both individual practitioners and large case management firms. Cathy is often called an "accidental expert" in AI, as she spends much of her time helping businesses use new technology without compromising on ethics or safety. She also sits on the committee for the Institute of Registered Case Managers (IRCM), where she co-authored national guidance on accessibility and cultural competency.

When she isn't working on reports, she hosts monthly networking events to help people in the industry connect and find ways to make their writing process faster.
